  • Use only high quality products Free of sulfates, silicones, salts, and alcohol

  • Use a clarifying shampoo every couple washes or whenever you can feel buildup on the hair

  • Avoid getting your hair wet in chlorine swimming pools and salt water. Freshwater and lake water are ok as long as you are keeping the hair tangle free and moisturized

Sleeping

  • Always keep the hair controlled while you sleep

  • Loose pony tail, bun, or braids are great ways to keep the hair controlled while sleeping

  • Always use soft scrunchies or corkscrew hair ties, never rubber bands or clips

  • Satin pillowcase or a satin hair wrap are recommended to keep the hair controlled, prevent breakage and ease tension on the hair

  • Never sleep with wet hair!

Maintenance

  • It is extremely important to schedule your move up appointments at right about every 6 weeks

  • Going past 6 weeks could result in damage to your hair and the extensions

  • The color on the extensions may need to be touched up at each appointment to maintain a seamless blend

  • The hair needs regular trims to maintain health just like your natural hair

  • It is very important to avoid getting sunscreen on the hair and especially sunscreen containing the ingredient Avobenzone.  This ingredient will can turn lighter colored extensions a brassy pinkish color.

Brushing

  • Always keep the hair tangle free

  • Only use soft bristle brushes or flexible bristle brushes such as the Wet Brush
